Canadian International School (CIS), Bengaluru, organised a grand graduation ceremony for its class of 2026 in May. Parents, students, board members, the management and faculty members attended the occasion. The event, themed ‘To Infinity and Beyond’, was a combination of pride and memories and offered hope and encouragement to class 12 students who were preparing to begin a new journey. An eminent CIS alumnus, Vignesh Nambiar graced the event as the guest of honour. He reflected on his experience at the institution, encouraging students to be resilient and take risks. The managing director of CIS, Shweta Sastri, praised the students and highlighted their potential. Additionally, Dr Ted Mockrish, the head of school, reflected on the occasion and the students’ journey, wishing them the best. Individuals from the CIS community, including a representative of the class of 2026 and a parent, also expressed their appreciation on the occasion. The ceremony ended with the graduation cap toss as the students enthusiastically stepped into the future.
