Child Rights and You (CRY), a non-governmental organisation that promotes child rights, has introduced a campaign called ‘Poori Padhai Desh Ki Bhalai’ that encourages girls to complete their education. The seven-week-long campaign, which began on June 24, aims to raise awareness among the public about the importance of girls’ education and resolve problems such as gender discrimination. As part of the initiative, CRY has collaborated with educators, students’ family members and educational authorities to increase girls’ enrolment across all educational levels including the secondary and higher secondary levels.
