The vicinity appears to be delightful,
When the Bougainvillea blush to redden.
They seem so elegant and graceful,
Like a piece of artwork adorning the garden.
Enchanting hues of flowers enthrall the butterflies,
For they embellish the view which is a paradise to our eyes.
They bestow their nector to the diligent bee,
And spread their pleasing odour even after,
being in the web of thorns.
Oh! do not pluck these selfless flowers,
that have life like thee,
Who make us beam with pleasure,
When in our little lawns.
