Astronomers have discovered the closest known black hole to Earth—it is 10 times bigger than the sun. This discovery was made using the International Gemini Observatory in USA. The black hole called Gaia BH1 is situated around 1,600 light years away from the Earth in the Ophiuchus constellation.
