Delight in these nourishing bajra puris, perfect for a rainy day or tea-time snack.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup bajra flour
¼ cup wheat flour
¾ cup finely chopped fenugreek leaves
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon curd
1 tablespoon oil
Turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt to taste
Oil for frying
METHOD
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together to form a dough. Let it rest for half an hour.
In a kadhai, pour enough oil for frying and let it heat up.
Meanwhile, make small puris from the dough.
Once the oil is hot, start frying the puris.
Enjoy the hot puris with aloo sabzi or curd and chutney.
