Bajra Methi Puri

Delight in these nourishing bajra puris, perfect for a rainy day or tea-time snack.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup bajra flour 
  • ¼ cup wheat flour 
  • ¾ cup finely chopped fenugreek leaves 
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds 
  • 1 tablespoon curd 
  • 1 tablespoon oil 
  • Turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt to taste 
  • Oil for frying

METHOD

  • In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together to form a dough. Let it rest for half an hour. 
  • In a kadhai, pour enough oil for frying and let it heat up. 
  • Meanwhile, make small puris from the dough. 
  • Once the oil is hot, start frying the puris. 
  • Enjoy the hot puris with aloo sabzi or curd and chutney.
