December 01, 2024

To promote an enjoyable educational experience, the Directorate of Education (DoE) has instructed private and government schools across Delhi to introduce 10 bagless days. Under this initiative, on such days, students of classes 6 to 8 will participate in workshops, nature walks and visits to historical sites, enriching their educational experience with practical learning. Students will also be able to interact with potters, painters, carpenters and other craftspeople, which will enhance their understanding of Indian culture. This initiative has been planned in accordance with the National Education Policy 2020 recommendations and will give students a break from regular classroom learning.
