To highlight India’s fight for independence and the valour of the country’s freedom fighters, Anurag Singh Thakur, the union minister of information and broad-casting, launched ‘Azadi Quest’, a series of educational mobile games, which have been developed in association with Zynga India. Thakur stated that through this initiative, the government aims to educate people about India’s freedom struggle by tapping into the huge online gaming market. The games are designed for players of all age groups and are available in Hindi and English for iOS and Android device users in India.
