India Art Fair was held at the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) grounds in Okhla, New Delhi, from April 28 to May 1. After a break of two years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the fair returned to its physical format for its 13th edition. 79 exhibitors including 14 non-profit institutions took part in the exhibition. The event focused on Indian and South Asian art. Other than the fair’s main segment, there was a performance art programme along with talks, workshops and outdoor projects. India Art Fair also partnered with XR Central, enabling the fair to be hosted in the metaverse. Visitors were able to choose their avatars and visit the fair virtually.
