To become an archaeologist, you need to complete your:
- BA in Indian history, culture and archaeology or in archaeology and museology.
- Common entrance test (CET) for a master’s degree.
- Master’s degree in archaeology or in ancient Indian history and archaeology or in ancient Indian history, culture and archaeology.
- PhD Entrance Test (PET) followed by a PhD in ancient Indian history, culture and archaeology.
- You could also do a post-graduate diploma in archaeology.
