‘APJ Abdul Kalam in 100 Anecdotes’ takes you through the life of Dr Kalam, from his humble home on Mosque Street in Rameswaram to the learnings he imbibed from his father’s friends. At a very young age, he learnt that all religions stood for and worked towards the same goal— the betterment of human beings and the world around us. His interest in engineering was piqued by watching his father build a boat for pilgrims. As a child, he also learnt one of the most important lessons of life—to face life’s storms with patience, adjust one’s sails and keep moving forwards. Kalam’s best friends were the books at his local library; they helped him pursue his dreams beyond the small town he lived in. This book takes you through his journey, from a young student to the Missile Man and eleventh president of India. Read the book and get inspired.
