The remains of an ancient civilisation were uncovered in Bandhavgarh National Park, Madhya Pradesh, by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The findings include several structures, man-made water bodies and ancient paintings in rock-cut caves. According to archaeologists, the site is approximately 1,800 to 2,000 years old. The presence of man-made water bodies shows that the society that built them had great skills and advanced knowledge in the field of water management. This discovery will enhance archaeologists’ understanding of the history and culture of the region.
