Ajit Doval Honoured with Lokmanya Tilak National Award

Ajit Doval, the national security advisor (NSA) of India, was honoured with the Lokmanya Tilak National Award, an award that recognises the efforts of individuals who work towards the advancement of the country.

Ajit Doval, the national security advisor (NSA) of India, was honoured with the Lokmanya Tilak National Award, an award that recognises the efforts of individuals who work towards the advancement of the country. The award, bestowed annually by the Lokmanya Tilak Smarak Trust, was presented to Doval by Union Home Minister Amit Shah at a ceremony in Pune on August 1. Doval, who has served as the NSA for the longest duration in India’s history, has been honoured for his significant contributions to India’s national security through his outstanding leadership, planning and decision-making. He is also known for his diplomatic expertise. As NSA, he has contributed to several major projects, including Operation Sindoor, and is also recognised for his contributions towards India-China relationships.
