Addition of Two-digit Numbers 

The addition of two-digit numbers can be performed in a simple way by splitting one of the numbers using the ‘tens and units’ principle.

For example:  Let’s take 54 + 45  Expand the second number ‘45’ into its tens and units: 40 + 5  Add the first number with the tens of the second number: 54 + 40 = 94  Now, add the digit ‘5’ that is remaining in the units place of the second number: 94 + 5 = 99So 54 +
