Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan was appointed as the new crown prince of Abu Dhabi by his father Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Sheikh Khaled graduated from the American University of Sharjah in UAE and also studied at King’s College London in the UK. He was appointed head of national security with the rank of minister in 2016 and also served as a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. Sheikh Khaled is also on the board of the energy giant, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.
