Jeff Kinney is one of the best authors I know. The series that he authored, called Diary of a Wimpy Kid, is one of my favourites. The whole series is full of humour. ‘Dog Days’, the fourth book in the series, is the book I liked the most. It is also the funniest book in the series. I like it because of its summer theme and Sweetie, the dog. As the title suggests, Sweetie is one of the main characters in the story and one of the main reasons I laughed so much while reading this book. There was a part where Greg, the protagonist of the series, watched a horror movie with his best friend about a muddy hand that goes around strangling people. Things get funny when he starts believing in it. Still, nothing was as good as the part where Greg thought that his father was going to sell him, which was most hilarious. I recommend that all of you read this book for it is an amazing read.
