Amitabh Bachchan recently celebrated his 80th birthday and 53 years in Bollywood. In his honour, the Film Heritage Foundation and PVR Cinema held a four-day film festival in which 11 of his best-known films from the 1970s and 1980s were re-released in cinemas. The movies were played across 17 cities. Apart from acting, Bachchan is known for hosting the television show, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, but he has also been a film producer, occasional playback singer and politician.
