According to reports in Yomiuri Shimbun, a Japanese newspaper, a hospital located at Osaka University accidentally used water meant to be used for toilets as drinking water for the last 30 years. This bizarre situation was noticed while creating the new building plan. Simply treated well water flow was connected to 120 faucets that were used for drinking water, washing hands and gargling. The fault took place in 1993, when the pipes were connected wrongly during the hospital construction. Fortunately, the water quality has been checked since 2014 and no health hazard was noticed.
