Students of Chavara Darsan Public School in Ernakulam, Kerala, celebrated the harvest festival on their school campus as the school entered its seventh year of paddy cultivation. The school began cultivating paddy in 2014 and teachers and students are part of the cultivation at every stage. This year, 130kgs of paddy were harvested. The aim behind this initiative is to inculcate the values and importance of agriculture in students.
