The Kohinoor Education Trust (KET), Mumbai, organised a flag hoisting ceremony at the hands of Rajiv Chavan, senior police inspector, and chairman of the governing board of KET, Sunil G Karve. The faculty and students of KET’s schools of management and Gandhi Bal Mandir School, a municipal school supported by KET, attended the ceremony. Special performances were put up by the students of Gandhi Bal Mandir School. Several programmes based on the theme ‘Naye Bharat Ki Buland Tasveer’ were organised by KET over the next few days to celebrate 75 years of India’s independence.
