A Good Mood

Kapish Lakhotia, Class 8, Don Bosco School Park Circus, Kolkata

“Raghav, wake up, wake up!” screamed Anita, at the top of her lungs. “You are late for school. Come on rise and shine!”, but Raghav didn’t bother and answered back, “I am not in a good mood to go to school.” So, Raghav’s mother left him and went on with her daily routine. By the time he woke up he remembered that he had a test to take that day. Raghav missed the test that day and called his mother to apologise for his actions.

This story is meant to be a reminder to the young minds out there, who need to learn to exercise control over their moods, emotions and feelings.

The elders should also teach the children of the lessons of the process to make correct decisions and suppressing their mood during times of temptation.
