Whiskers the cat, with fur white and bright,
Orange splotches here and there, quite a sight!
She loves her chicken, oh what a treat,
And chases toy mice with her speedy little feet.
She climbs on the curtains, high up she goes,
And swims in the bathtub, who would’ve known?
She naps on the table, right where we dine,
And chews on cardboard boxes, oh so fine!
Under my blanket, she loves to hide,
With tasty treats, she’s always by my side.
When I come home from school, she greets me with a meow,
And does tricks for treats, a handshake and a bow,
From a rescue shelter, she came to stay,
Her best friend Midnight, a black cat, together they play.
Side by side, they frolic, in the sun and the shade,
Whiskers the Wonder Cat, my furry parade!
