Eight Quotients That Help Build an Individual’s Personality

In the editorial in our December 1 to 15, 2024 issue, we asked you if any quotients needed to be added to our list of eight quotients that help build an individual’s personality.

Dasamsh V Pulicharla, a class 9 student at The Crossword School, Guntur says,

  • Self-belief Quotient (SBQ): In my opinion, Self-belief Quotient is the most important quotient because a person has to believe in themselves or else there is no point in them trying anything new. For example, even if a person with low SBQ does everything right at a particular task, they will still have to wait till some other person assures them that they are right. I found this low SBQ to be very common among my classmates.
  • Articulative Quotient (AQ): Articulative Quotient measures a person’s ability to deliver what they want to. AQ is about articulation and presentation. AQ can be measured by observing the change in the pitch of their voice and how enthusiastic they are while explaining something. This is very important as we can influence many people with a small yet powerful speech. A person with high AQ can turn monotonous things into the most intriguing ones.
  • Technology Quotient (TQ): Technology Quotient measures how efficiently a person uses tech in their day-to-day life. Using technology can be time-saving and beneficial. One can also make a decent monthly earning by making content on online platforms such as YouTube. Using AI tools, one can complete work that usually takes 10 days in less than 10 minutes.
  • Physical Quotient (PQ): Physical Quotient measures a person’s physical fitness. I guess Sports Quotient (SQ) comes under this. PQ also measures how skilled a person is at playing sports. A person with a high PQ excels at strategising, analysing and responding to stimuli.
