Students at the AES Life Skill Programme
December 16, 2024

Our school hosted the AES Life Skill Programme on October 18 through which we learnt about the importance of service, donation, relationships and networking. We also learnt about the importance of helping our society and planning and executing of community service activities. Additionally, we were told about sustainable development goals (SDGs), which include no poverty, zero hunger, good health and well-being and partnerships for the goals. As part of the programme, we collaborated with a non-governmental organisation (NGO) called Grace Care Academy. Through this initiative, we provided support to orphaned and underprivileged children in Grace Care Academy by making donations on the occasion of Diwali. We collected various items including clothes and stationery such as chart paper and paintbrushes in donation boxes at our school. On October 29, we visited Grace Care Academy and were introduced to the children there. We put up a few performances for the children and interacted with them. This enriching experience taught us about our social responsibility and the importance of helping others.
