Indian Oil Corporation Appoints New Chairman

Arvinder Singh Sahney, a seasoned professional in the oil and gas sector, has been selected as the chairman of the oil and gas company Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).

Arvinder Singh Sahney, a seasoned professional in the oil and gas sector, has been selected as the chairman of the oil and gas company Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). Sahney, who has more than three decades of experience in the oil and gas sector, took charge in his new role on November 13. Before this, he was in charge of the company’s petrochemicals division and spearheaded the establishment of multiple projects including the Paradip Petrochemical Complex in Odisha, which is under development. Sahney completed his chemical engineering degree from Kanpur’s Harcourt Butler Technical University and has been part of IOC since 1993. Through the course of his career, he has contributed to the operations of five of IOC’s refineries.
