  • Trump obtained 312 Electoral College votes, 270 being the minimum required to win, making him the 47th US president.
  • Trump emerged victorious in USA’s crucial states including Wisconsin, Michigan and Arizona, giving him his second term as the country’s president.
  • Trump’s policies on immigration-related issues, unemployment, economic matters and other problems appealed to many voters, leading to his success.
  • Trump is expected to assume charge as president on January 20, 2025, while US Senator James David Vance from USA’s Ohio state will serve as vice president.
