Ethan’s Daring Adventure

Lineysha Agrawal, Class 5, The Gaudium School, Hyderabad

Once upon a time, in a kingdom named Telapur, lived a strong man named Ethan. Despite his strength, he was disrespected by everyone because of his appearance. People avoided him, leaving him feeling lonely and isolated. He longed for acceptance and respect. Meanwhile, the kingdom was plagued by an illness known as Kacha Pada, which left many children weak and suffering, leaving parents devastated.
In a quest to gain everyone’s admiration, Ethan came up with a daring plan to steal the crown jewels from the lost city of Atlantiss. He had heard that these jewels were a rare type of coin, heavily protected by mysterious, poisonous craveras (massive creatures 13 feet tall) capable of killing people in a zippy. The mere thought sent shivers down his spine. Whoooooooooooo!
Ethan was a brave and courageous man. He was confident that he could succeed in his quest. He immediately began preparing for the challenging and exhilarating journey ahead. After much effort and struggle, he finally managed to get hold of the map for the city of Atlantiss. He set off towards his destination determined to prove himself worthy to those who disrespected him.
He walked and walked along the path when suddenly, he heard a cravera let out a thunderous Roarroaaaaaaaaaaar! Ethan was taken aback, his heart racing. He quickly put on his safety gear, trembling from head to toe.
As Ethan approached the cravera, a wave of nervousness flowed through his entire body. He couldn’t understand how he would fight such a massive creature! Suddenly, the cravera snatched his bag, blocking his path. Overcome by frustration, Ethan lost his temper and engaged in a fierce battle with the cravera, determined to succeed.
He finally defeated the cravera. Though he felt happy, he was also in pain, with cuts all over his body. He cried out loud, both joyful and heartbroken, for the wounds hurt a lot. Despite the pain, he remained audacious and continued his journey.
After hours of walking, Ethan stumbled upon a rare flower known as the Shiff, instead of the crown jewels he had been seeking. He gazed at its stunning petals realizing that these flowers could heal children from Kacha Pada. Mesmerized by its beauty, he at once forgot about his mission. He decided to go back and share his findings with the king, so that the children of the kingdom could be cured.
He quickly plucked the flowers and kept them properly in his bag. He headed back to his kingdom. Upon reaching, he rushed to the king’s court. With shining eyes, he took out the flower and presented it to the king. He explained that it had the remedy to cure children from Kacha Pada.
The king was also mesmerized by its beauty! He instantly called for a proclamation to explain Ethan’s discovery. Everyone was astonished by his finding. The villagers used the flower to cure their children, and all the children recovered, filling the kingdom with joy.
The king arranged for a trip to Uzimbabad, the city of wonders, to thank Ethan for his bravery and the incredible discovery of the Shiff flower, which had healed the children of the kingdom. Everyone was overjoyed. They truly savoured their time together. Ethan had a blast, and he was thankful for the king’s generosity.
On the journey back, everyone was in a great mood. Just as Ethan was about to depart, the king said, “Ethan, I have a proposal for you.” Ethan was confused. In front of the villagers, the king proposed to make Ethan the new king. Ethan was speechless. The villagers roared in agreement. Overwhelmed with emotion, he realized that he would finally earn the respect he had longed for.
Ethan’s journey, once filled with isolation, had led him to the greatest reward of all, the love and respect of his people. He proved to be a wise and just ruler. Under his leadership, the kingdom thrived in happiness and prosperity.
