To encourage children to read and to promote literacy, the NH Goel World School, Raipur, hosted a reading festival called Reading Fest 2024 from August 12 to 17. Authors Jaya Jadwani and Shraddha Thawait were the chief guests of the festival. The festival featured book stalls and included interactive sessions with numerous authors who shared their writing experiences and their views on the value of reading. During the festival, the ‘Aim Achievement 100 per cent Programme’, which strives to make sure that the school’s students attain 100% literacy, was launched. The festival ended with a ceremony that recognised the accomplishments of students who won reading competitions and other contests held during the week.
