Up in the sky, the airplanes soar,
Wings spread wide, from shore to shore.
Engines hum and clouds drift by,
As we go zooming through the sky.
Buckle your seatbelt, take your seat,
Feel the plane lift off the street.
The ground below gets small and far,
While we fly high, just like a star.
The world beneath looks like a map,
Tiny rivers take a nap.
Mountains rise, but we’re so high,
They seem like bumps beneath the sky.
The captain speaks, his voice so clear,
“We’ll land soon, no need to fear.”
But till we touch the ground once more,
Adventure waits beyond the door.
Look out the window, what a view!
The sky is vast and ocean blue.
The clouds are like a fluffy bed,
Where dreams could dance above your head.
The wings are steady, strong, and true,
Taking us where skies are new.
A rainbow arcs, the sun shines bright,
Guiding us on this wondrous flight.
Soon the plane will dip and glide,
As we prepare for the ride to slide.
The wheels will touch the earth once more,
And we’ll be home on distant shore.
Air travel’s magic, light, and free,
A gift to soar, for you and me.
So next time that you catch a flight,
Remember the wonder of flying light!
