The Goa state government has successfully introduced robotics and coding in students’ curriculum through the Coding and Robotics Education in Schools (CARES) scheme. This scheme aims to provide students studying in government-aided schools and government schools across Goa with skills that will be beneficial in the future. Under the scheme, schools have been equipped with computing equipment and infrastructure that will help the students acquire digital knowledge. This initiative has already proven advantageous to over 60,000 students across the state and has been praised by the state’s chief minister, Pramod Sawant.
