Long, long ago, in a tree, there lived a wise parrot. It was intelligent and helped everyone in the forest. One day the ants in the forest became furious because everyone was stepping on them. The ants started biting everyone in revenge. All the animals went to the king of the jungle for a solution. The king said, “Ask the old parrot. He is wiser than all of us.” All the animals went to the old parrot and asked him for a solution. The parrot said, “I’ll meet the ants. You should just be patient.” The next day during the meeting the ants said, “everyone is stepping on us, not only the humans but also the animals.” Then the parrot asked, “Why are you roaming everywhere?” “We are searching for food, no one is giving us. The humans are dumping the food far away. All the animals are eating our food, so we need to go to the faraway dumping place.” The old parrot thought for a while. “Every day, one animal will provide some food for you, so that you don’t have to go far away.” All the animals agreed to the solution and from that day on they all lived more happily than ever before.
