Bhel is one of the most delicious and popular Indian street foods. It is a sweet, tangy and crunchy snack that is enjoyed by people of all ages. This simple bhel recipe makes for a quick, tasty and healthy evening snack.
INGREDIENTS
1 tomato
1 onion
1 potato, boiled
100 grams kurmura (puffed rice)
25 grams sev
10 papdis (fried flat pooris)
2 tablespoons sweet chutney
1 tablespoon green chutney
½ lemon
½ cup coriander, chopped
Salt, pepper and red chilli powder to taste
METHOD
Ask an adult to help you chop the tomato, onion and boiled potato.
Add the kurmura to a bowl. Add the sev and a few broken papdis to it.
Add the chopped tomato, onion and potato.
Add a pinch of salt, pepper and red chilli powder to the mixture.
Add both the chutneys and mix well.
Squeeze half a lemon over it.
Mix all the ingredients and garnish with coriander and papdis. Your bhel is ready!
