Research material at the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (NMML) in New Delhi will soon be digitised. Under this project, which will cost around ₹7 crore, 40,000 books, reports, periodicals and archival documents that comprise the whole India House Collection of the library will be transformed into digital form. It is estimated that the project will take a year to complete. An advanced digital platform called Open Digital Library and Archives (ODLA) is expected to be developed by Tata Consultancy Services in association with NMML, which will make the research material available globally. Researchers will be able to access the documents and download them by making payments.
