In my classroom, I sit and stare
At the world outside, I want to share
The birds that sing, the trees that sway
The sunshine bright, the sky so gay
I wish I could go outside and play
But first I must learn to read and write today
My teacher helps me, she’s so kind
With her, I can explore my mind
I learn about numbers, letters, and more
I learn to share, to play, and explore
With my friends, we laugh and smile
Together, we make learning worthwhile
I love grade three, it’s so much fun
Learning new things, and getting things done
And when the day is done, I go to bed
With dreams of adventures in my head.
