The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has confirmed that there are more than 5,000 exoplanets around the solar system. NASA recently found 65 exoplanets using the Transit Method in which the dimming of a star is measured when a planet passes in front of it. Another method used by scientists to discover exoplanets is the Doppler Method. When the Nancy Grace Telescope will be launched in 2027, it will make exoplanet discoveries using different methods.
