Birders can now see exotic birds at Essel World, an amusement park located in Gorai, Mumbai. With the idea of offering something different to its visitors and children, Shirish Deshpande, the chief executive officer of Essel World, has introduced India’s first interactive bird park here. The park will house 550 rare birds, which have been procured– with all their certifications–from certified bird handlers and sellers across the country. The park can accommodate 250 people at once. Some of the birds here include ostriches, African grey parrots, blue gold macaws, toucans and black swans, which have been trained for two years to interact with human beings.
